  • 1/2 - 3/4 lb Beef Stir Fry Strips
  • 1 tbsp Founders & Farmers chili powder
  • 1 tsp Founders & Farmers cumin
  • salt, to taste
  • canola oil, for cooking
  • 1 onion, sliced into thin wedges
  • 1 red, yellow or green bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • small flour tortillas
  • salsa, avocado, cilantro and/or sour cream, for serving

How to make it

  1. Rub the steak with chili power, cumin and salt and set a heavy (cast iron is ideal) skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add a drizzle of oil and cook the steak for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to to your liking.
  3. Set aside on a cutting board to rest.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the onion and pepper in the skilled (don't wash it out - and add another drizzle of oil if it seems dry), and serve with the steak and your choice of condiments, wrapped in flour tortillas.
