Chief Executive Officer

Throughout his career, he has built high performing teams, strengthened customer experiences and led organizations through periods of significant evolution.
Before joining Calgary Co-op as Chief Executive Officer, Andrew served as CEO of francesca’s® and previously held executive leadership roles with LOFT, Justice, Kmart, Marks & Spencer, New Look and Pimkie. Andrew also serves as a Advisory Board Member of Pearl by David’s Bridal.
He is known for his collaborative leadership style, people-first approach and commitment to building strong cultures that deliver lasting results.
Outside of work, Andrew is enjoying exploring Calgary and the mountains as a keen skier and roadbiker, spending time with his husband, and their dogs, Parker and Truman. Originally from the United Kingdom, he is fluent in French and German and has called North America home for more than a decade.
Chief Financial Officer
He has been the CFO of both public and private companies for over 19 years and earned a reputation for uncompromised integrity. He has direct responsibility for all aspects of capital markets, finance, investor relations, business development, information technology, enterprise risk mangaement, pension plan oversight, law and contracts, procurement, logistics, and aspects of government relations. Rich has been extensively involved in strategic planning, key operational and capital investment decisions, and adoption of AI and has a strong commitment to safety and the environment having managed organizations who follow the responsible care ethical framework, with a visible commitment to ESG.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
With over 25 years of experience in the legal field, Kristi brings a wealth of expertise to Calgary Co-op’s executive team. A strategic leader with a passion for delivering practical legal solutions, Kristi has spent the majority of her career advising national retailers, navigating complex legal landscapes, and driving business success through proactive risk management and innovative problem-solving.
Known for her tenacity, creativity, and commitment to community, customer and sustainability, Kristi is focused on delivering legal insights that support Calgary Co-op’s goals and drive sustainable growth. She is a trusted advisor to the executive team, integrating legal strategy with business objectives.
Outside of work, Kristi serves on the board of Trellis Society and is the chair of its HR committee. She is passionate about mentorship and community engagement, bringing those values into both her professional and personal life.
Senior Vice President, Digital, Member & Information Technology

Her career has been defined by senior leadership in retail, with a strong focus on elevating customer experience, fostering accountability through ownership, and delivering innovative, data-driven, and digital strategies.
Alena is known for building strong team cultures and enabling exceptional experiences for both employees and customers.
