Ingredients

  • 1 pizza shell or fresh dough
  • 3 tbsp Cal & Gary's Olive Oil
  • 10 mission figs cut in half
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 package dairy-free Boursin cheese
  • Nonna Pia's Balsamic Glaze
  • 1/2 tsp coarsely cracked black pepper
  • Flour for rolling out dough
  • Salt and pepper

How to make it

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400F. Use a pizza stone for best results.
  2. In a small pan over, medium high heat cook onions in 1 tbsp olive oil until golden and caramelized for about 15 minutes.
  3. **Roll out your pizza dough to about ¼” to ½” with some flour to your desired shape. **
  4. Brush pizza skin with olive oil. Spread the caramelized onions in a thin layer on the pizza shell, leaving a ½” space on the edge for the pizza crust. Now place dollops of the Boursin cheese evenly all over the pizza, top with half of the mission figs.
  5. Place the pizza in the oven and cook for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove pizza from the oven top with arugula and remaining figs. Drizzle with Nona Pia’s balsamic reduction and sprinkle with the cracked pepper. Cut and enjoy!
