  • 1 package Cal & Gary's Orecchiette Pasta
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp Founders & Farmers garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Founders & Farmers Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 cup Founders & Farmers frozen peas
  • 1 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1-2 cups reserved pasta water, as needed

How to make it

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to the package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, in a blender combine the cottage cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, parmesan, corn-starch and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture into a heavy bottom pot over medium heat. Stir until it begins to thicken, about 6-7 mins.
  4. Stir in the chicken, bacon and peas. Add some pasta water to thin everything out to a smooth sauce consistency.
  5. When the pasta is done cooking, strain it out and add it to the sauce, stir to combine.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
