What are the special attributes and experience that make you a strong candidate for Calgary Co-op’s board?
1) My qualifications: ICD.D degree, CA, CPA and B Comm; 2) My experience in retail; Weston/Loblaw (Real Cdn Superstore and No Frills), Canadian Tire, Mark’s Work Wearhouse and Forzani Group + experience in fuel marketing – Parkland Corporation ( Esso, Fas Gas, and Chevron); 3) My Executive and Board Leadership record: ( i.e. Canadian Tire, Weston/Loblaw, Canadian Pacific Railway); + 4) Being a Calgary Community member, not only at the grass roots level as a minor league sports coach for many years but also as Citizen member of the City of Calgary Audit Committee for the past six years.
Why do you want to serve on the Calgary Co-op Board of Directors?
With my qualifications and experience as an Executive and Board member including in Retailing and Fuel Marketing, Calgary Co-op is a Board where I can make a meaningful contribution and have an impact.
