What are the special attributes and experience that make you a strong candidate for Calgary Co-op’s board?

• Values driven, collaborative leader whose diverse background includes corporate or board roles in multiple industries
• Extensive strategic planning and strategy execution experience at Corporate and Board of Directors levels with organizations ranging from-$20m to-$2.6B of revenues
• Operational leadership and administrative oversight of Profit & Loss performance, Capital and G&A budgets, mergers & acquisitions, stakeholder relations, marketing programs, sales teams, procurement, supply chain & contracting, corporate projects, major constructions & development projects
• Real Estate management experience inclusive of land-use planning, development, capital projects, leasing, asset, property and facility management, financing, acquisitions and dispositions
• Experience with M&A activities and Investment Committees with oversight of investment performance
• Leadership experience with organizational design, cross-functional high-performance teams, KPI development and implementation of cultural, workplace and transformational change initiatives

Why do you want to serve on the Calgary Co-op Board of Directors?

It’s an opportunity for me to contribute another 3 years of service to a values driven Calgary business. During my first term I served on all Board committees and possess a deep understanding of Co-op’s operations, lines of business and future plans. I see the need to enhance Co-op’s long-term strategy and this is an area where I can contribute significantly to the organization.
