All Calgary Co-op pharmacies have prescribing pharmacists (those with additional prescribing authority from the Alberta College of Pharmacy). Our pharmacists can assess you and prescribe for:
Narcotics, controlled drugs or medication required outside of minor ailments cannot be prescribed by our pharmacists. Please see your doctor for these health care needs.
You can renew a prescription for previously diagnosed chronic health conditions through a Calgary Co-op pharmacist. This includes depression and other mental health concerns, asthma inhalers, medication for blood pressure, cholesterol and COPD.
