Special attributes: A lifelong Calgarian and Co-op member since 1988 I have a vested interest in the success of Co-op.
I have extensive executive experience in both the public and private sector having held Vice-President positions at Alberta Health Services, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and CEDA International. I also proudly served on Calgary City Council.
I have current knowledge of Co-op business lines (Liquor & Cannabis) and served 9 years on the AGLC chairing the Governance & HR and Business Development Committees. I have sat on numerous Crown, Not-for-Profit Boards and presently the RCMP Management Advisory Board.
I possess requested applicant experience in C-Suite, Board experience, oversight of supply chain, real estate & facilities management. I support good governance and hold the ICD.D designation.
Why serve: As a lifelong Calgarian and Co-op member since 1988 I have watched Co-op transition to the multi business organization that it is today while still respecting its long history. I have the interest, the time, the Board and executive leadership experience, the skills and strategic vision to add significant value to the Board and the organization as Co-op charts its path forward for the future.
