Our bakery team is up early every day baking in-store and stocking our shelves with fresh staples and treats for you and your family. We use wholesome ingredients in our baked goods, like our butter croissants and shortbread cookies and real whipped cream in our cakes and pies. You will also find an unrivalled selection of goods from local bakeries in our Best from the West program and our new, exclusive brand Cal & Gary’s on our shelves and in our display cases.

We are excited to introduce you to Cal & Gary’s; our new product assortment that has been curated especially for the tastes of our city. Look for the Cal & Gary’s logo for new items in the bakery department, like our Black Forest Cake made with real whipped cream and Kirsch and deliciously creamy cheese cake.
We have a variety of cakes and trays that can be ordered ahead to help make hosting easier. Our professional cake decorators are standing by, icing bags in hand, waiting to create the perfect custom cake for that special someone.

Our bakery department is committed to supporting local producers like Calgary Italian Bakery, Mang Pedro, Las Tortillas and Byblos Bakery to name a few. We have made joining us in supporting our local producers easy for you too; just look for the green Best from the West tags in store.
You are going to love our loaves which are baked throughout the day so that you get the freshest bread possible. Try our specialty breads like European-style dark rye, ciabatta, and our artisan breads.
The most important meal of the day is one of our most delicious. Our muffins, butter croissants and Danishes are the perfect start to your day.
We bake fresh rustic pies, pies made with real cream, loaf cakes, cinnamon rolls and more each day. We bake cookies every day for you but if it is a still-warm cookie straight from the oven that you are craving ask us for some frozen cookie dough.
