Special attributes: I have extensive experience in consumer packaged goods in Western Canada; working my way into the industry by calling on retail stores for Kraft Foods, then moving to Frito Lay to manage Western Canada Clients and its sales team. I built, along with two partners in Toronto, a successful food and drug brokerage, (CROSSMARK CANADA) a national enterprise that employed over 300 people. After selling CROSSMARK CANADA I worked with a co-op of egg farmers to create the Egg Processing plant in Lethbridge (EPIC) Pastuerising eggs for the pet food industry.

Working for boards has taught me how to be of help to management, to listen and learn, then help.

Why Run: A robust retail environment is a great benefit to society, bringing variety and quality to the table. A strong local retailer is far more invested in our local market of both suppliers, and customers. I would like to help Calgary Co-op to thrive, for the good of our great city, and the members of the co-op!
