Will I need a Card Number and password to use the “Quick Refill” and Patient Login?
No. The only information you require to use the Quick Refill feature is the prescription number, the store location and your phone number. The prescription, or Rx, is the 6-8 digit number located on the top left-hand side of your prescription label.

What if I forget my password?
You will need to visit your Co-op pharmacy to get an updated password.

Can I fill my prescription at another Calgary Co-op Pharmacy location?
Your prescription has a unique number that is linked to the Co-op pharmacy that dispensed the medication. However, if you would like to pick up your prescription at another location, you can use the special instructions feature to request a transfer your prescription to your desired location. Please be aware that some prescriptions are non-transferrable as per pharmacy provincial laws.

I have refills left on my prescription, but I can’t seem to I fill it.
Please call your Co-op pharmacist for clarification.

Instead of typing in my prescription number, can I use my camera to scan the barcode?
Excellent idea, but not at this time. This is feature will be added in the future.

What does it mean when it says I am too early for a refill?
This could be due to a number of factors:
    • Your insurance plan restricts early access to your refills.
    • Your provincial policy limits how early you can fill your prescription.
    • Your physician may have placed an interval on your medication.

If you require an early refill due to lost medication, or a dosage change, please call to speak to a Co-op pharmacist.

I tried to refill my prescription and I was alerted it is inactive/expired. Why?
This could be due to a number of factors:
    • All prescriptions have an expiry date based on the time the prescription was placed on your file (length depends on provincial pharmacy laws and the medication). This date does not take into account whether you filled your medicine, or have refills remaining. Therefore, a prescription can expire even if you have refills remaining.
    • Your prescription might have been inactivated due to a dosage or therapy change. For example, if you were taking a blood pressure medication and your physician authorized a change in your medication, your old prescription would be inactive.

However, following an assessment, your Co-op pharmacist may be able to provide an interim supply until your next appointment (depending on the medication).

What if I want to change the quantity for this refill?
The Quick Refill feature can only fill the same quantity as your previous fill. However, you may add a special note in the instructions to fill for your desired quantity or call your co-op pharmacist directly.
