Calgary Co-op is excited to announce the new personalized Me-wards program exclusively for our members and it’s as simple as Load, Shop, Save.

Load, Shop, Save makes it easier and more convenient to redeem your Me-wards offers in a unique digital program exclusively for our members. Members can receive personalized Me-wards offers for the food centre, gas station and convenience stores  and wine, spirits and beer locations.

The personalized Me-wards program allows Calgary Co-op members to select the products they like and load offers into their digital Me-wallet which seamlessly attaches to their membership number. 

Members don’t have to remember their offers or click on an app at the cashier to get the best deals… the offers will be attached to their membership number.

Signing Up

1. In your browser, navigate to www.mycalgarycoop.com
2. Click the ‘Register’ button and fill out the mandatory fields
a. Open the confirmation email in your email inbox & click the validation link
b. elect a password, confirm it and pick a security question
3. Update your preferences and click the ‘Register Now’ button
4. Go to your profile and ‘Validate’ or ‘link’ your membership number, if its not already linked.

That’s it! Now you can access your personalized offers by:

5. Navigate to ‘My Personalized Offers’ in the menu bar at the top
a. Depending on the preferences you set, there will be one or two baskets – ‘Food and Gas Station Offers’ and/ or ‘Wine Spirits Beer Offers’
b. Once you select one or the other, a new tab opens with your available offers
6. Click on the offers you are interested in to ‘Clip’ to your Me-wallet.
7. When you are shopping in-store, provide your membership number at the till
8. Offer discount will be applied automatically and appear on your receipt

I already receive e-mail offers. Do I have to sign up again?
Yes, you will need to complete a one-time only sign-up process at mycalgarycoop.com. Make sure you ‘validate’ or ‘link’ your membership number in your profile to receive personalized offers (see below in this FAQ for more information about this!). Don’t forget to review all your personalized offers and clip the ones you are interested in.

Can I link two different email addresses to a single membership number? Can both my partner and I receive offers?
Yes, you can!

Multiple individuals can set-up their own profiles (including your email address) and associate to the same membership number. Then, each of those people will receive weekly emails and have access to their own Me-wallet with offers to clip and redeem.

Once you sign-up, you will be asked to link your membership number in your profile. There are two choices:

Validate: If you are the primary member on your Calgary Co-op membership (i.e. receive the year-end patronage refund), please enter your membership number and click on “validate”.
Link: If you are not the primary member but still want to be connected to a specific membership number (i.e. someone else in your household), then please enter that membership number and click on “link”.

What’s the difference between validating and linking my member number?
Validate: If you are the primary member on your Calgary Co-op membership (i.e. receive the year-end patronage refund), please enter your membership number and click on “validate”. Our systems will validate you based on a number of fields. Therefore, please ensure your profile is updated to include the correct address and birthdate.
Link: If you are not the primary member but still want to be connected to a specific membership number (i.e. someone else in your household), then please enter that membership number and click on “link”.

Please note, validation is optional. You will still receive offers if you simply ‘link’ your membership number.

In my profile, my birth year is showing 1900…?
We require your birthdate for security purposes. If you do not put in your year of birth it will default to 1900.

Can I use the same sign-in credentials for to receive my Me-wards offers and my liquor online shopping?
Not yet but we are working on it. For now, you will have a separate login for your personalized offers through your Me-Wallet and WSB eCommerce.

I’m getting Calgary Co-op emails to more than one email address. How do I get it only once?
If you don’t want to receive Calgary Co-op emails for a specific email address, follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of that email.

I used to get emails from Calgary Co-op but am not getting them anymore. What’s wrong?
Make sure to go to mycalgarycoop.com and ensure you have signed up and linked your membership number.

How do I update my preferences or unsubscribe?
There are 2 ways:

Personalized Offers

How do I view and redeem my personalized offers for food and liquor?
To view and redeem your offers, please follow these simple steps:

1. You will need to first sign up/ sign in at mycalgarycoop.com 
2. Once signed in, you can view your offers by clicking on “My Personalized Offers” in the top banner.

3. Click the box for the offers you want to view (Food and Gas Station Offers OR Wine Spirits Beer Offers)

4. Once in, you can view all the valid offers and ‘clip’ the ones you are interested in. These offers will load automatically to your Me-wallet and attach to your membership number.
5. Then, when you shop in-store, and mention your member number to the cashier, your clipped offers will automatically be applied to your bill. You will see your savings on your receipt as “DC” (short for “Digital Coupon”). No need to show your phone anymore!

How do I view and redeem my personalized offers for offers at the gas station?
Our gas stations and convenience stores use a different point of sale (POS) system. Therefore, fuel and carwash coupons will need to be presented to the cashier at the gas stations for redemption. To do this, you will have to show the offer before you fill-up or make your purchase. To make this easy, if you are accessing the site from your mobile device, after you clip the offer, you can simply take a screen capture of the offer so its easy to access through your photos when you are in the gas station!

How often will new offers be available?
New Food and Gas Station offers will be available every Wednesday and new liquor offers will be available each Thursday. All offers will be valid for a minimum of 7 days. So, check back often!

How often can I use the same offer?
Each offer (except offers on meat items) will be set up for a maximum two items per transaction (i.e. 2 containers of yogurt in the same transaction) and two redemptions per membership number (i.e. two different transactions during the time offers are valid). Meat offers will be for one-time use only and only one item per transaction.

I can see my food offers but can’t see my liquor offers. What am I doing wrong?
Due to AGLC regulations, your Food and Gas Station offers and liquor offers need to appear on separate pages. Therefore, when you open you Me-wallet from  mycalgarycoop.com, each set of offers will open in its own tab in your browser.

For computers/ laptops - click on the tab at the top of your screen “My Personalized Offers” then click on the “Wine Spirit Beer Offers” box.

For cell phones/ tablets, they will open in separate browsers so you will need to switch between the pages.

· On iPhone using Safari: click the overlapping boxes icon on the bottom right of your browser to flip between Me-wallet tabs.
· On Android phone using Chrome: click the rounded square icon with the number inside on the bottom right of your browser window.

Can I use my Me-wards offers on my WSB online purchases?
Not yet, but we are working on it! Currently, Me-ward offers on specific products are only redeemable in-store.

On my receipt, where do my redeemed offers appear?
On your receipt, for any redeemed offers, you will see a line starting with ‘DC’ and the appropriate discount. ‘DC’ stands for Digital Coupon.

I clipped a coupon, but the discount didn’t come off my bill. What do I do?
Next time you are in the Food Centre, please take your receipt to Customer Service. They will be able to resolve the issue for you.


Going Digital

Can I access my personalized offers through the Calgary Co-op apps?
No, not yet, but we are working on it! For now, please go directly to  mycalgarycoop.com.

How many emails will I get from you?
Based on your preferences, you will receive a few emails per week (food and gas station offers on Wednesday’s and wine, spirits & beer offers on Thursday’s). And occasionally, we will send additional targeted savings offers just for you.

What will my emails look like?
Weekly emails will continue to be sent to you based on your preferences for each line of business (Food, Gas Stations and Liquor). However, instead of offers included in the email, there will be a link to your new personalized Me-wards offers. The rest of the email will appear similar with Make It Tonight section at the top followed by feature stories and a link to the flyer at the bottom.

I don’t have a smartphone. Can I still redeem these offers?
Absolutely!

You can access your personalized offers through your computer or laptop by signing into  mycalgarycoop.com
Once you review and clip food and/ or liquor offers, they will be loaded to your Me-wallet and automatically be redeemed when you provide your membership number at the till for grocery and liquor purchases. There is no need to show offers on your phone anymore!

For gas station offers, you will need to print the offers and present to cashier at the gas station.

To print, you will need to first sign up or sign in to  mycalgarycoop.com and clicking on ‘My Personalized Offers” in the top banner. From there, you can review all your offers, clip the ones you are interested in and print (look for the icon in the top right corner). Be sure to present to the cashier prior to purchasing.

Can I print my personalized offers?
Yes, you can, but if you’ve clipped your offers, you won’t need to show anything to the cashier for your food and liquor items.

However, if you want to print, please sign-in to  mycalgarycoop.com and view/ clip your offers. Then, simply navigate to “My e-wallet” with all your clipped offers and press on the print icon in the top right corner. Then, present these to the cashier.

What about people who don’t have computers or phones?
We will continue to offer weekly sales, in-store specials and the annual member refund to all Calgary Co-op members.
