Ingredients

  • ¼ lb. porkloin centre cut roast, cut into strips
  • 1 Tbsp. mirin
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • ¾ cup kimchi
  • ¼ cup white onion, sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • ½ pkg (225g) medium firm tofu, 1” cubed
  • 3 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • Jasmine rice to serve with

How to Make It

1.

Put on a pot of Jasmine Rice as per package instructions.

Toss pork strips with mirin, salt and pepper.

3.

In a medium sized pot heat oil until hot. Add the pork and sear quickly.

4.

Now add the onions and cook for about 30 seconds.

5.

Add kimchi, green onions, tofu and water or broth.

6.

Bring to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes.

7.

Finish with remaining ingredients and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve with rice on the side.
