A pizza with fresh basil on a lemon-garlic sauce
Pre-heat oven to 450°F or grill on high heat. Use a pizza stone for best results.
In a small bowl, combine mascarpone, milk, garlic, lemon juice and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper.
Toss broccoli with 1 tbsp of olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place in oven or on grill for 2-3 minutes to take the rawness off the broccoli. Remove and set aside.
**Roll out your pizza dough to about ¼” to ½” with some flour to your desired shape. **
Brush pizza skin with olive oil. Now spread the mascarpone sauce in a thin layer on the pizza shell, leaving a ½” space on the edge for the pizza crust.
Sprinkle the mozzarella onto the mascarpone sauce and then top the cheese with the prosciutto.
Top the prosciutto with the par-cooked broccoli.
Place the pizza in the oven and cook for 8-12 minutes or place on the grill, close the lid of the grill and cook for 8-12 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Top with the fresh basil leaves, cut and enjoy!
