  • 1/2 pound Emmental, Gruyere, and aged cheddar, cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Freshly ground nutmeg
  • Chopped fruit, vegetables and meat for dipping

How to make it

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and stir occasionally for five minutes. Whisk in garlic and white wine and bring to a low simmer.
  2. Slowly add cubes of cheese, stir until cheese is melted, add paprika, pepper and nutmeg. Transfer mixture into a fondue pot, keep warm over low flame.
  3. Serve with chopped vegetables, fruit and meat.
