Preheat grill on high.
Season the pork chop with salt and pepper. Toss the green onions with 1 tbsp oil and season with salt and pepper.
Turn down grill to medium and place the pork and green onions onto grill. Grill onions until quite charred, about 5 minutes.
Cook pork until 145°F, making sure to flip half way through cooking. About 10-12 minutes.
Remove onions from the grill and let cool.
When pork is finished cooking, remove from grill and let rest in a warm place.
While pork is resting, in a blender, combine green onions, parsley, ½ cup oil, pine nuts, parmesan and lemon zest. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
Serve the grilled pork with the green onion pesto and enjoy with a chilled glass of white wine.
