Whip the cream until stiff peaks form, fold in powdered sugar, vanilla and vodka.
Heat large frying pan on medium and add butter.
Slice fruitcake into ½ inch slices.
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and almond extract.
Place flour in another shallow bowl.
Dredge a fruitcake slice in flour then dip it into batter, dredge again in flour followed by dipping back in the batter.
Repeat with the rest of the fruitcake slices.
Place on hot pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with vodka whipping cream and maple syrup
