Mix soy sauce and oil together and pour over steak. Let marinate for 5 minutes.
Peel shrimp and set aside for later.
Place steak on grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare. Steak should reach 48°C with a thermometer. When steaks are ready, place on a rack and let rest for about 10 minutes in a warm place.
In a sauté pan over medium heat, add the butter and melt. Add the shrimp and cook for 1 minute per side. Add the garlic to the edge of the pan and cook through. Toss shrimp with cooked garlic. Deglaze with white wine and reduce until the liquid is almost gone. Finish with parsley, chives, salt and pepper.
Serve the steak and shrimp with a crusty bread and green salad.
