Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, par bake pie crust until set and sandy in color.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl combine corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, almond extract and salt; beat thoroughly.
Place cranberries and pecans in pie crust and pour liquid mixture over top.
Take strips of tinfoil and cover pie crust edges to keep them from burning.
Bake 50-60 minutes, or until center is set.
