Cheeseburger Wedge Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 lean ground chuck patties
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup grated aged cheddar or crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • ranch, green goddess or blue cheese dressing, to taste
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

How to Make It

1.

In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, cook the burger patties, sprinkling with salt and pepper, for 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. (Cover the pan with a lid or foil to help cook them through.)

2.

Cut the head of lettuce into thick wedges and top with a burger patty, grated cheddar and tomatoes, drizzle with dressing and sprinkle with bacon.
