MICROWAVE

In a bowl, combine the shallots, honey, and balsamic.

Drizzle in the olive oil.
3.
Pour the marinade into the steamer bag with the zucchini and microwave for 3-5 minutes until zucchini is tender.
4.
Place on a serving platter, sprinkle with the fresh basil and season with salt and pepper.
SAUTÉ
1.
Heat oil in a sauté pan and then add the shallots to sweat.
2.
Then add the zucchini to cook and develop a little colour.
3.
Cook the zucchini to “al dente”.
4.
Add the honey and the vinegar.
5.
Let the honey-balsamic reduce and slightly caramelize.
6.
Season with salt and pepper and remove from the heat.
7.
Place onto a platter and sprinkle with the fresh basil.
