Ingredients

  • ½ -pound Emmental, Gruyere, and aged cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Freshly grated nutmeg

How to Make It

1.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.

2.

Whisk in flour and stir occasionally for five minutes.

3.

Whisk in garlic and white wine and bring to a low simmer.

4.

Slowly add cubes of cheese, stir until cheese is melted, add paprika, pepper and nutmeg.

5.

Transfer mixture into a fondue pot, keep warm over low flame.
