Education and professional designations:
Bachelor of Human Ecology with Major in Marketing from the University of Manitoba, Director's Certification - Level 1 from the Cooperative Retail System, Community Relations from U of C, and Foundation Certificate in Information Technology Service Management from Loyalist College of Applied Arts & Technology.

Occupation and work experience:
Experienced Board Director with Calgary Co-op from 2001-2004,served as Vice Chair and held several Committee Chair positions. Have worked with The City of Calgary over the past 14 years as a Communications Consultant, Marketing/Business Coordinator and an ITManager. Won several awards for project work. Involvement with Calgary Co-op or other co-operatives: Served on Calgary Co-op Board as Vice-Chair, Chair of Member Relations, Community Relations and the Charitable Trust Fund. Volunteer on the Member Relations Committee from 1999-2001 and 2004. Executive member and member of the strategic planning committee for provincial Co-op Council.

Affiliation with employees,contractors or anyone associated with Calgary Co-op:
Have worked with many Co-op staff as a Board Director. Community or volunteer involvement: Have served as Coordinator for Fish Creek Little League, Block Watch Parent, and on fund-raising for Bow Valley Hockey Association. Participate in most Co-op community events.

Board related experience, skills and/or qualifications:
Completed Board Director Certification and courses in parliamentary procedures and community relations. Experienced in customer service, business planning relationship management.
