54th Annual General Meeting - March 9, 2011

Members of Calgary Co-op are cordially invited to attend the annual general meeting on March 9, 2011. This is your opportunity to hear important information and news about your Calgary Co-op, director elections, and to ask us questions. The meeting will be held at the Carriage House Inn, 9030 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, starting at 2:00 p.m. and ending at approximately 4:00 p.m. This is your chance to get involved--see you there!

Board of Directors Election and Board Officer Appointments for 2010

The 53rd annual general meeting of Calgary Co-operative Association Limited was held on March 10, 2010, where the results of the election for its board of directors were announced. Incumbent director Myra D'Souza Kormann was re-elected to the board of directors for a three year term. Two new directors were also elected - Roy Goodall and Randy Kott, each for a three year term.

The board of directors also appointed its board officers for 2010-2011. Stuart Cantrill was re-appointed board chair, Terry Geib was re-appointed vice chair, and Lisa Wise was re-appointed board secretary. Other board members include Barry Ashton, Johanna Bates, Roy Goodall, Myra D'Souza Kormann, Randy Kott and Rick Smith.

The board also extends its appreciation to retiring board members Laura Sullivan and Alex Ingram for their years of dedicated service to the board and the members-owners of Calgary Co-op.

The membership approved a proposal from the board of directors regarding board remuneration.  A copy of the proposal presentation is available here.
