TEMPORARY SHORTAGE 

Adverse weather conditions in Central America have caused severe flooding in the banana growing areas. It’s estimated that 25,000 to 80,000 hectares have been destroyed.

This has resulted in a temporary product shortage and the price has increased until the situation improves.
