Calgary Co-op Charity Golf Classic

The 2007 Calgary Co-op Charity Golf Classic raised $309,000 for local organizations including: Alberta Children's Hospital, Boys and Girls Clubs, Calgary Public Library, EMS Foundation Project Smile, and other local charities.

2008 Charity Golf Classic

Recipients have been selected for the 2008 Charity Golf Classic. Therefore, applications are no longer being accepted for 2008.

Participation in our annual charity golf classic is limited to suppliers of Calgary Co-op only, and is not open to the public.

Applying for the 2009 Charity Golf Classic

Calgary Co-op is now accepting applications from non-profit and other community organizations that would like to apply for funding from our 2009 golf classic. To apply, please review the information below. Applications received without all of the information requested, will be not be considered.

Calgary and area non-profit, charitable and other community organizations must submit their written proposal to Calgary Co-op, Member and Public Relations Division, by 4:30 p.m. on September 30, 2008.

Your proposal must be complete to be considered. Because of the large number of requests we receive, please do not contact Calgary Co-op about receipt of or the status of your proposal.

Proposals received by the deadline will be reviewed by the Calgary Co-op Community Investment Management Committee in late October. Calgary Co-op will contact each organization that submitted a proposal by November 15th to advise whether your proposal has been accepted or declined. All decisions by Calgary Co-op are final. Funds must be accepted as presented and used for the purpose agreed upon. Each organization selected to receive funds will be required to sign an agreement with Calgary Co-op on the use of the funds to be provided, recognition to be provided to Calgary Co-op, and other details agreed upon regarding the donation to your organization
