Participation in our annual charity golf classic is limited to suppliers of Calgary Co-op only, and is not open to the public.
Applying for Golf Classic Funds
In November of 2011, Calgary Co-op will begin accepting applications from non-profit and other community organizations for funding from our 2012 golf classic. The deadline for applications for the 2012 Calgary Co-op Charity Golf Classic is March 31, 2012. To apply, please review the information below. Applications received without all of the information requested will not be considered.
Calgary and area non-profit, charitable and other community organizations must submit their written proposal to Calgary Co-op, Marketing and Member Relations by 4:30 p.m. on March 31, 2012.
Your proposal must be complete to be considered. Because of the large number of requests we receive, please do not contact Calgary Co-op about receipt of or the status of your proposal.
All decisions by Calgary Co-op are final. Funds must be accepted as presented and used for the purpose agreed upon. Each organization selected to receive funds will be required to sign an agreement with Calgary Co-op on the use of the funds to be provided, recognition to be provided to Calgary Co-op, and other details agreed upon regarding the donation to your organization.

Past Donation Recipients
The Calgary Zoo Foundation's new Calgary Co-op Kids Zone. This family-friendly area includes a wildlife carousel, toddler play area and newly remodelled children's train and train station.
Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids. (BB4CK) This registered charity works in partnership with Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Separate School District to combat increasing numbers of students attending Calgary schools without a lunch. BB4CK delivers over 1500 lunches each day to over 70 schools.
YWCA of Calgary believes that healthy women and families lead to a thriving community. Their mission is to offer programs and services for women and their families that provide them with the skills, abilities and opportunities to contribute to and benefit from healthy communities.
Horizon Housing has been providing appropriate homes to people in need since 1976. Properties range from individual group homes to multi-family apartment complexes. This type of housing helps reduce the stigma attached to a particular group of people and promotes community integration, independent living and acceptance while enhancing the quality of live for their tenants.
Kerby Centre. In operation since 1973, this organization is a multi-purpose social service, educational and recreational facility operated by and for all Calgarians over 60 years old. Kerby Food Services provides reasonably priced, nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea service. Last year Kerby Food Services served 31,036.
