Our One-to-One Management Training Program provides individuals who encompass leadership competencies, technical skills, customer service and a desire for career development, the opportunity to train for and become a manager for fresh departments such as Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat or a commodity manager in the gas bar, grocery, pharmacy or travel. Training may also be for a front end or assistant centre manager. Calgary Co-op Centre Managers are responsible for the operation of the full centre.
As a manager trainee, you partner with one of our experienced managers, who will act as a mentor and demonstrate the leadership skills necessary to manage situations that all of our managers oversee on a daily basis.
Our Calgary Co-op Management Training Program equips new managers with a complete training manual, tailoured in-house courses and monthly reviews with the division or commodity director to ensure that the training being provided is meeting the expectation of the individual and the company.
Upon completion of the program, management trainees are placed into management positions at one our locations.
