Calgary Co-op to Sell Calgary Flames 2006 Playoff TicketsFor Immediate Release - April 18, 2006 - Calgary Co-op is excited to confirm that a limited number of Calgary Flames playoff tickets will be available for purchase through a random draw at every Calgary Co-op food centre. Round 1 tickets will be available for $49.99 each (including GST). Tickets will not be sold individually, only in pairs, for a total of $99.98 (including GST) per pair. Each location will have five sets of tickets (total 10) available for purchase for winners of the random draws. Beginning Wednesday, April 19 at Noon, customers may pick up an entry form from any Calgary Co-op customer service location or can use the entry form printed in Calgary Co-op's food ad in the Calgary Herald. Entry forms must be deposited in the entry box at Calgary Co-op customer service by 1:00 p.m. the day prior to each playoff game, at which time Calgary Co-op will conduct a random draw at each location. Winners will be contacted that afternoon, and will have until 1:00 p.m. on game day to return to the centre and purchase the tickets (at the same location they entered). If winners have not purchased their tickets by 1:00 p.m. on game day, they will forfeit their opportunity to purchase the tickets and another name will be drawn until all tickets have been purchased. Calgary Co-op will continue this process for each Calgary Flames playoff game. Once an entry form has been submitted, it will be eligible for each ticket draw. There is no need to re-submit an entry. Winning entries will be re-entered for the remaining draws. For further details, please visit any Calgary Co-op customer service location or www.calgarycoop.com. Contest rules will be printed on the entry forms and on www.calgarycoop.com under "Tickets". Locally owned and operated, Calgary Co-op is one of the largest retail co-operatives in North America, with 405,000 members, 3,600 employees, $288 million in assets and annual sales of $816 million.
