Calgary Co-op Sells EMS Cookbooks

May 5, 2005 - Just in time for Mother's Day, the Calgary EMS Foundation is selling a fantastic fundraiser cookbook perfect for gift giving. It contains over 170 favourite recipes provided by the men and women of Calgary EMS. Because they are favourite recipes, they are tried, tested and true - sure to please any palate! The cookbooks make great Mother's Day gifts or just a little treat for you.

Proceeds from the cookbook support community programs that work to keep Calgary healthy and safe. The Capsule of Life, children's injury prevention initiatives, bicycle helmet give -aways and automated external defibrillators are some of the programs you will be helping to support. The EMS Foundation is a charitable and independent organization.

From May 5 - 25 Calgarians can purchase their cookbooks for only $20 from any Calgary Co-op customer service desk, while supplies last. The media are invited to a special promotion / photo opportunity where recipes from the cookbook will be prepared and available for tasting. Representatives from Calgary Co-op, EMS and the EMS Foundation will be available.
