Calgary Co-op Teams Up For Child Safety

April 8, 2005, Calgary, Alberta- When a stranger drives up, are your kids street smart? Calgary Co-op has teamed up with Child Safe Canada, the Calgary Police Service, Missing Children's Society, and Calgary Block Parent to bring kids a free informational session on staying safe. The session for kids and their parents will take place at the Calgary Co-op Brentwood Centre auditorium at 4122 Brentwood Road N.W. Calgary on April 8, 2005, beginning at 6:00 p.m. People wanting to attend can register for the session by calling or stopping by the customer service office at our Brentwood Centre (299-4311).

Calgary Co-op is committed to the communities we serve, and there is no better way to show our support then by being involved in helping to keep children in our communities safe. This session will feature a 30-minute presentation by Child Safe Canada and the Calgary Police Service called "What to do if approached by a vehicle." Child safe information will also be available for parents from Calgary Block Parent and the Missing Children's Society.
