Deane joined Calgary Co-op in October 2009. His primary responsibilities include providing overall leadership to achieve our Vision and Mission by developing and ensuring the implementation of strategic direction and business plans for attaining corporate, financial and operational objectives. Deane has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and over 23 years’ retail food industry management experience.

Barry joined Calgary Co-op in 1999. He is responsible for finance, accounting, stationary support and information technology. Barry is an officer of our company and servesas the compliance and privacy officer. With over 32 years of co-operative experience, Barry is a Certified Management Accountant and has his MBA.

Jeff joined our company in 2008. He is responsible for centre operations, merchandising, petroleum, pharmacy and travel operations. Jeff has been in the co-operative retail industry since 1981.

Laurie joined Calgary Co-op in January 2011. She is responsible for brand and reputation management, consumer marketing, corporate communications as well as government and community relations. Laurie brings a wealth of experience in communications, marketing and external relations to our organization.

Lee Gonsalves joined Calgary Co-op in March 2011.  He is responsible for human resources, compensation and benefit programs, training and development, and labour relations.  He brings over 30 years of experience to this role.

Dallas joined Calgary Co-op in 2011. For the past 18 years, she has held senior roles in real estate development in Western Canada.  Prior to joning Calgary Co-op, Dallas held the role of Senior Director, Real Estate and Development, in Western Canada for a leading grocery, gas and wines and spirits retailer.  Her background focuses on retail and property specific Asset Management Plans at the corporate and tactical level for multiple concurrent sites.
