Building a CareerCalgary Co-op continues to grow, and there are tremendous opportunities for career advancement. This focus on career is supported through sound leadership, direction and extensive training and development programs. Many of our long-service management employees started in entry-level positions, such as a part-time service clerk, and advanced to a supervisory or manager position or to a district manager position at head office. This is due to their hard work and commitment, and also our career development and growth programs. We believe in promoting from within, and our internal job-posting recruiting program enables employees to move through various positions and increasing levels of responsibility.
